One of the oldest continuously sailing fleets in the world, the Olin Stephens-designed Manhasset Bay One-Design continues to be the pride of the club. MBOD's sail on Saturday's and Sunday's at 2:00 PM. Join us for a fun filled weekend, every weekend.

Manhasset Bay Yacht Club and Port Washington Yacht Club each maintain fleets of Ideal 18 promoting great inter-club sailing. Sailors who wish to compete in the Ideal 18 fleet are welcome to bring their own boat, or reserve one from their respective club. Racing for this class takes place May - September on saturdays and sundays at 2:00 PM from the Worry Wart. |
We race Sonar One Design sailboats on most Saturdays and Sundays from May thru September at 2pm, with starts at the Worry Wart in Manhasset Bay. Most races are often windward/leeward in the bay with occasional races into Long Island Sound. We welcome new competitors and crew.
